Join us at the Slave Lake Library from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, March 17 meet local author and historian, Sheila Willis.
Sheila's recently released book “Alberta History - Lesser Slave Lake Region: News Reviews Volume 1 - 1880 to 1896 reached the Amazon best seller list in several days. Copies will be on hand for $32.99 or you can bring your copy and have it signed.
The book chronicles the “Edmonton Bulletin” newspaper articles that referenced Lesser Slave Lake in that time period. Indexing and theme additions make it an interesting read or can be used as a reference book of the news of that time.
